The Beefeater Proline® Side Burner is a high-performance side burner designed to complement any outdoor kitchen. Its powerful burner, minimalist design and commercial grade stainless steel construction make it an ideal choice for those seeking versatility, durability and a premium aesthetic finish. In addition, its integration with the ProLine® series barbecues allows for a more functional and sophisticated cooking space.

Whether you want to prepare a sauce, cook in a wok or even sear meats at high temperatures, this cooker offers the power and precision needed for any type of preparation.

Power and Versatility in One Burner

The Proline® Side Burner is equipped with a QuadBurner®, an advanced cooking system that allows for different cooking methods in a single device. Its triple-ring design with a four-way outlet provides even heat distribution, ensuring efficient and even cooking.

Thanks to this technology, you can use vessels up to 30 cm in diameter, adapting to conventional frying pans, large pots or even woks for more elaborate recipes. This makes it an ideal tool for those looking to take their outdoor cooking to the next level.

In addition, the QuadBurner® is designed to adjust the power according to the type of cooking, meaning you can go from high, intense heat for searing meats, to lower, controlled heat for preparing delicate sauces or warming foods without burning them.

Quick and Safe Ignition

One of the great advantages of this side burner is its piezo ignition system, which guarantees instant ignition without the need for matches or external igniters. With a simple turn of the control, the flame ignites quickly and safely, allowing you to cook immediately.

This ignition system is not only practical, but also improves safety in your outdoor kitchen, reducing the risk of accidents caused by manual ignition attempts. And because it is integrated into the controls, it makes it easy to operate the burner without interruption.

Elegant and Minimalist Design

The Proline® Side Burner is not only a powerful tool, but also stands out for its elegant and unobtrusive design. Its low profile and straight lines allow for a harmonious integration with the barbecues of the same ProLine® series, offering a modern and sophisticated aesthetic.

In addition, it features a flat stainless steel lid, which not only protects the burner when not in use, but also helps to keep the surface clean and free of dust or debris. This feature is especially useful for those looking for a tidy and well-maintained outdoor kitchen.

Its 304 grade stainless steel construction guarantees a flawless appearance and superior corrosion resistance, ensuring that the cooker retains its premium aesthetics over time.

Intuitive and Ergonomic Controls

Designed for maximum comfort and ease of use, the Proline® Side Burner ‘s controls have been designed with optimised ergonomics. Their shape and layout allow precise heat adjustment, facilitating the preparation of any type of food without the risk of overheating or inappropriate temperatures.

Each knob features a power level indicator, eliminating the need to guess the intensity of the heat and allowing for more accurate cooking. Whether you need high heat to brown ingredients or low heat to keep food warm, this system ensures you have total control over cooking.

Durability and Strength for Extended Use

Made from commercial grade stainless steel, this side burner is designed to withstand the most demanding weather conditions, resisting moisture, corrosion and temperature changes.

In addition, its robust construction allows for intensive use without compromising performance, ideal for those who enjoy cooking outdoors on a regular basis. With proper maintenance and the use of a protective cover when not in use, its durability can be extended for years without loss of efficiency or appearance.

Maintenance and Care for a Long Service Life

The Proline® Side Burner is designed to deliver optimal performance over many years, but to ensure proper operation and extend its service life, regular maintenance is necessary. By following these steps, you will ensure that your burner remains in perfect condition, avoiding performance issues and residue build-up.

1. Cleaning after each use

Each time you use the burner, it is advisable to clean it to prevent the build-up of grease and dirt that can affect its performance and appearance.
  • Pre-cooling: Wait for the burner to cool completely before starting cleaning. Sudden exposure to cold water can damage the materials and cause stains on the stainless steel.
  • Removing surface residue: Use a soft cloth or kitchen paper to remove food debris and oil splatters before they stick to the surface.
  • Deep cleaning:
    • Mix warm water with a mild soap and use a soft sponge or microfibre cloth to clean the surface.
    • For areas with accumulated grease, apply a small amount of baking soda with water and rub gently with a non-abrasive sponge.
  • Drying: Dry with a dry cloth immediately after cleaning to prevent water marks and stains on the stainless steel.

2. Protection from the weather and prolonged storage

If the stove will not be used for a long period of time or is exposed to the outdoors, it is important to protect it to prevent damage from moisture and exposure to the elements.
  • Use a protective cover: If it is not covered by a roof, use a weatherproof cover to prevent the accumulation of dust and moisture.
  • Suitable location: Avoid storing it in areas where it may be exposed to direct rain or humid environments, as this can accelerate corrosion even in high-quality stainless steel.
  • Protection of internal components: If you are going to store the stove for several weeks or months, check that the gas pipes are disconnected from the fuel source and that there is no accumulation of residue on the burners.

3. Checking the gas lines and burners

It is advisable to periodically inspect the gas lines and burners to ensure that the fuel flow is correct and there is no risk of leaks.
  • Checking for leaks: Apply a mixture of soap and water to the gas connections and see if bubbles appear when you open the valve. If bubbles appear, there is a leak and the installation must be checked before using the stove.
  • Cleaning the injectors: Use a fine-bristled brush or compressed air to remove food or grease residue that could clog the burner injectors.
  • Checking the flame: If you notice that the flame is irregular, too yellow or weak, there may be a blockage in the gas line. Turn off the stove, check the connections and clean the gas outlet before turning it back on.
By following these steps, your Proline® Side Burner will remain in excellent condition for many years, ensuring optimal performance every time you use it.

Asian Wok Stir-Fry Recipe with Beef and Vegetarian Version

A dish full of flavour and texture

The wok is one of the most versatile tools in the kitchen, and with the Proline® Side Burner, you can achieve intense, even heat that is ideal for preparing quick stir-fries with an Asian touch. This recipe is perfect for those looking for a balanced, flavourful meal, with a traditional version with meat and an equally delicious vegetarian alternative.

Ingredients (serves 2)

Meat option:

  • 250 g beef fillet (can be tenderloin, sirloin or entrecôte) cut into thin strips
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 1 red pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 courgette, thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, chopped
  • 1 piece of fresh ginger, grated (approximately 1 teaspoon)
  • 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil for cooking
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional, to add depth to the flavour)
  • 1 teaspoon honey or brown sugar (to balance the sauce)
  • Sesame seeds and chopped chives for garnish

Vegetarian option:

  • 200 g firm tofu, cubed and well drained
  • 1 teaspoon cornflour (for a crispier texture in the tofu)
  • 1 extra tablespoon soy sauce
  • ½ cup sliced mushrooms (shiitake or portobello for more flavour)
  • ½ cup cooked edamame
  • 1 teaspoon rice vinegar (to enhance the flavours)
  • ½ teaspoon toasted sesame oil for a smoky touch

Step-by-step preparation

  1. Prepare the ingredients: Cut all the vegetables and meat into thin strips so that they cook quickly and evenly. If using tofu, pat it dry thoroughly with paper towels and coat it with cornflour before cooking to achieve a crispy texture.
  2. Heat the wok: Turn the Proline® Side Burner to high and allow the wok to heat thoroughly before adding the ingredients. A hot wok is key to achieving a good stir-fry without the ingredients releasing water.
  3. Cooking the protein:
    • If using meat, add it to the wok with a little vegetable oil and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned on the outside but juicy on the inside. Remove from the wok and set aside.
    • If using tofu, add it to the wok with the oil and brown on all sides for 4-5 minutes before removing.
  4. Sauté the vegetables: Add the garlic and grated ginger to the wok and sauté for 30 seconds to release their aromas. Then add the carrot, pepper and courgette (and mushrooms in the vegetarian version). Cook for 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
  5. Add the sauce: Mix the soy sauce, sesame oil, oyster sauce and honey in a bowl. Pour this mixture into the wok and stir well so that the ingredients are infused with flavour.
  6. Finish and serve:
    • Return the meat or tofu to the wok and mix well.
    • Add the edamame beans (for the vegetarian version).
    • Cook for another 1-2 minutes and remove from the heat.
    • Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds and chopped chives.
This stir-fry is ideal to serve with jasmine rice or rice noodles, making the most of the power and versatility of the Proline® Side Burner.
