Designed for demanding outdoor kitchens, this two-drawer undercounter unit brings the agility of organised front access and the precision of an electronic control with infrared sensor, which prevents false readings if the sensor is covered or receives direct sunlight. LED lighting offers two modes – automatic on opening or permanent for display – and the alarm system monitors actual usage with door open and high/low temperature alerts to protect beverages, mise en place and ready-to-serve foods. Thanks to its climate class 5, it is designed to work in warm environments of up to 40 °C and 40 % humidity, typical of terraces, porches and outdoor kitchens; moreover, its energy class A with IEE 21 and consumption of 1,120 Wh/24 h (409 kWh/year) keeps costs down in continuous use.

🧱 Materials and construction

The internal architecture decouples vibrations with silent-blocks on the compressor and a thick layer of polyurethane foam that isolates the useful space of the chassis, improving comfort and thermal stability when the worktop vibrates due to cuts, knocks or the actual racking of the grill area. In the drawers, the organisation kit includes two sets of dividers – fixed side seats and mobile dividers – and S.S. tubes dedicated to the lower drawer to prevent the bottles from sliding and falling when opening; the handles are installed with the screws included, taking care not to over-tighten so as not to mark the steel surface.

Outstanding functionalities

The panel groups the IR sensor, the on/off button, the light mode selector and the display. Temperature adjustment is made in ±1 °C increments and, after setting the setpoint, the unit always displays the actual temperature until it reaches the selected value; it is possible to toggle the display between °C and °F by holding the adjustment buttons for three seconds. Two light modes allow to prioritise efficiency (on only when opening) or continuous exposure of the interior, very useful in beverage service.

⚡ Performance and efficiency

For demanding outdoor scenarios, climate class 5 validates stable operation up to 40 °C/40 % RH, which is rare for standard domestic appliances. The balance between performance and consumption is stated in the EPREL data sheet: A / IEE 21, E24h 1,120 Wh, 409 kWh/year and 77 L net, figures that support 24/7 use next to the barbecue. The manufacturer’s recommendations – correct positioning, short openings, not introducing hot water and regular cleaning of the condenser –help to sustain this performance and avoid overconsumption.

🎨 Design and aesthetics

The two-drawer format simplifies mid-service replenishment and mise en place by batches: top drawer for pass ingredients and sauces, bottom drawer for bottles and tall trays, protected by the dedicated anti-tip tube. The front ventilation grille and air conduction plate maintain the internal flow, while the interior lighting makes the contents visible at a glance when the permanent mode is active.

🧩 Compatibilities and organisation

The divider kit is designed for beverages, fruit and preparations; it comes in an accessory bag with left/right seating, movable dividers with U-tubes and two S.S. tubes per drawer. The charcoal filter – black washers located at the top left of the bottom – is removed by turning the pins and pulling towards the user; in this model it is accessed by removing the top drawer with a 45° movement. This modularity makes it easy to integrate the equipment into modular kitchens and bars, and maintenance does not require dismantling the installation.

🔥 For outdoor cooking styles

Whether on charcoal grills, gas grills, kamado or griddles, the fridge functions as a cold centre keeping marinades, salads and toppings in safe ranges, with the added safety of alarms that warn if the door has been open for >5 min or if the interior exceeds 25 °C for >6 h or drops < -2 °C for >3 h. This allows staff to act before food safety is compromised during peak heat or service. Its class 5 approval makes it suitable for outdoor use at 40 °C, even on terraces with solar radiation, always avoiding the direct exposure recommended in the manual.

🛡️ Safety and ease of use

The circuit uses R600a refrigerant (isobutane); therefore, the manufacturer insists on not damaging the circuit, keeping the vents open and not storing flammable aerosols inside. When restarting after a power failure, a delay of 3-5 minutes must be observed to protect the compressor. On a day-to-day basis, the manual reminds you to reduce the opening time and adjust the setpoint by one unit at a time, allowing the system to stabilise before further changes.

🌍 Non-barbecue applications

Beyond the barbecue, the under-counter format and fine control make it useful in pool houses, entertainment areas or beverage bars where permanent lighting and visible alarms are desirable. In indoor kitchens, the anti-vibration system and polyurethane insulation reduce transmissions to the cabinet and help maintain stability when opening and closing frequently.

Use and Maintenance

1) Initial Installation (First Day)

  • Rest after transport: keep the fridge upright and wait 4 h before plugging in so that the gas/refrigerant stabilises.

  • Location and ventilation: avoid direct sunlight and heat sources (cooker, radiator); leave airflow space in the front and rear grilles. Level the unit with the front feet to ensure the doors/drawers seal properly.

  • Pre-cleaning: wipe the interior with a mild bicarbonate solution; rinse and dry.

  • Switching on and stabilisation: connect to 220–240 V~ 50 Hz with an earthed socket. Switch on and wait 24 h before loading food. If there was a power cut or you unplugged it, wait 3–5 minutes before restarting.

2) Start-up and Electronic Control

  • On/Off: press and hold Power for 3 s.

  • Temperature adjustment: use ▲/▼ to vary by ±1 °C per step. The display shows the actual temperature until the setpoint is reached. Change °C/°F by holding ▲+▼ for 3 s.

  • Infrared sensor: do not cover it or expose it to direct sunlight to avoid faults.

  • LED lighting: 2 modes; automatic when opening or always on (select by holding the light button for 3 s).

3) Alarms and Daily Safe Use

  • Door/drawer open: alert after 5 min; close or press any key to silence.

  • High temperature: > 25 °C for > 6 h → check load, seals, and ventilation.

  • Low temperature: < –2 °C for > 3 h → adjust setpoint.

  • Food safety: do not place hot food inside; minimise openings; do not use electrical devices inside; R600a (isobutane) is flammable: ventilate the room if a leak is suspected and avoid ignition sources.

4) Drawer Organisation and Airflow

  • Included dividers (2 sets): fit the side brackets and the movable divider in each drawer as per the manual diagram. In the lower drawer, install the bar to prevent bottles from falling when opening.

  • Efficient distribution: leave space between containers for air circulation; do not place products against the back wall (cold/humid zone). Use the coldest area for highly perishable foods (meat, fish).

5) Routine Cleaning (Monthly or as Needed)

  • Before cleaning: switch off and unplug.

  • Interior: mild bicarbonate solution; rinse and dry.

  • Stainless steel exterior: soft cloth; no abrasives or solvents.

  • Condenser and grilles: remove dust with a soft brush to optimise efficiency.

  • Condensate channel: keep the channel clean and the drain hole clear so that defrost water flows into the tray.

6) Defrosting and Efficiency

  • Automatic defrost: the fridge defrosts itself; do not use sharp objects or steam to remove ice.

  • Energy-saving tips: place the unit in the coolest area, let food cool before storing, label/organise to reduce opening time, and do not line internal areas with paper/foil (blocks airflow).

7) Scheduled Maintenance

  • Carbon filter (annual): remove the top drawer by lifting it at 45° and turn the filter to release, pull it towards you, and replace it with an original one. Repeat to access the rating plate by removing the lower drawer.

  • Seals and levelling: check the sealing and levelling if you notice vibrations, noise, or air ingress.

  • LED lighting: not user-replaceable; if it fails, call service.

8) Long Breaks, Holidays and Moving

  • Prolonged stop: empty, switch off (thermostat to 0), unplug, clean and dry, and leave doors/drawers ajar to prevent mould and odours.

  • Moving: secure loose parts, tighten adjustable feet, move upright preferably; do not connect until after 4 h.

9) Quick Troubleshooting

  • Not cooling enough: check setpoint, ambient temperature, openings, and space around the unit; confirm proper closure.

  • Vibration/noise: level it, check for no loose parts, and remember that circulation sounds and creaks due to expansion are normal.

  • Codes and alarms: if probe faults (L1/L2/H1/H2) or fan (F1) occur, or temperature alarms persist, contact technical service.
