The Napoleon Prestige Pro VX gas barbecue represents a new understanding of premium outdoor cooking. This variable range is designed for those looking for a high-end gas barbecue with intelligent control, culinary versatility and an aesthetic presence that can be integrated as the centrepiece of a terrace or garden. Within the series, the Prestige Pro 500 offers a highly advanced, connected experience in a more balanced format, while the Prestige Pro 665 Elite takes that proposition to the next level with increased capacity, a more complete furniture configuration and smoke system integration.

🛠️ Premium materials, construction and presence

A construction designed to convey real quality

The Prestige Pro VX series is designed for users who value not only power, but also a sense of solidity, precision and finish. Its premium approach is perceived in the visual quality of the whole, in the integration of the different cooking elements and in a very neat presence, closer to a high-end outdoor kitchen than to a conventional gas barbecue. The Prestige Pro 500 resolves this philosophy in a more contained format, while the Prestige Pro 665 Elite amplifies this perception with an even more emphatic presence.

An aesthetic designed to blend in as the centrepiece of the outdoor space.

Beyond performance, the Prestige Pro VX is designed to take centre stage in the garden or terrace. Its visual language, clean lines, the prominence of stainless steel and the overall design of the cabinet make it not just a grill on wheels, but a mobile outdoor cooking solution with real decorative value. In the 665 Elite, moreover, the level of organisation and the feeling of furniture further enhance the premium reading of the whole.

🔥 Functionality, performance and culinary versatility

A barbecue built for more than just grilling

The great strength of the Napoleon Prestige Pro VX is its ability to bring together different forms of cooking in a single unit. The SIZZLE ZONE infrared side burner allows for intense searing, the infrared rear burner opens the door to full use of the rotisserie and the overall configuration of the unit allows for great flexibility in different cooking styles. It is not limited to direct grilling, but responds well to more controlled cooking, large pieces, multi-time cooking and sessions where the aim is to combine speed, precision and visual spectacle.

Rotisserie, infrared and 8-in-1 cooker

All the models in this range are designed as very complete barbecues for demanding users. The included rotisserie, the presence of the rear burner and the ability to work with different zones make the Prestige Pro VX a true outdoor cooking station. In the 665 Elite, the integrated smoking system further expands the range of possibilities compared to the 500.

Caja ahumadora con astillas de la Napoleon Prestige Pro 665 Elite VX

Integrated smoking on the 665 and optional on the 500

One of the most important differences within the range is in the smoking system. On the Napoleon Prestige Pro 665 Elite VX, smoking is included as standard, which reinforces its profile as a more complete outdoor cooker, ready to work with deeper flavours without relying on additional accessories. In the Napoleon Prestige Pro 500 VX, on the other hand, this possibility can be incorporated as an option by means of the reference GASM002, an interesting solution for those who want to keep the more balanced format of the 500, but without renouncing to expand its culinary possibilities over time.

Automation, connectivity and intelligent control

A connected experience with real practicality

One of the great differentiating features of the Prestige Pro VX is its intelligent approach. This range incorporates a connected cooking approach that allows you to work with more control, more visibility over the process and a much more accurate reading of the cooking. It’s not just about adding technology, it’s about making the user experience more intuitive, more measurable and safer for those who want consistent results.

Smart mode and manual use in one device

The series is designed for those who value both traditional cooking and the advantages of automation. That’s why it combines manual use with advanced management, display, monitoring and control functions that elevate the overall product experience. It is a way of cooking that is particularly well suited to users who want to master the temperature, follow the process better and get more out of each session.

🧰 Storage, organisation and outdoor integration

Compartimento lateral iluminado de la Napoleon Prestige Pro 665 Elite VX

A mobile outdoor kitchen, not just a barbecue

The Napoleon Prestige Pro VX is clearly aimed at a user who wants a complete outdoor cooking solution. That’s why furniture, storage and interior organisation are part of the value proposition. In the Prestige Pro 500 there is already a very solid base for working in comfort, but it is in the 665 Elite that this concept becomes particularly evident, with a configuration that conveys tidiness, more convenient access to utensils and a feel closer to that of a high-end outdoor kitchen.

More capacity, more tidiness and a more refined experience in the 665 Elite

The 665 Elite variation not only gains cooking space, it also enhances everyday use thanks to a more ambitious layout of the furniture, the presence of drawers and an interior organisation designed for those who use the barbecue as a real outdoor culinary centre. This approach greatly enhances the premium perception of the whole.

🛡️ Safety, ease of use and practical maintenance

An advanced product that is also designed to coexist well with everyday life.

A premium barbecue at this level must offer more than just performance. It also has to be comfortable, intuitive and reasonable in its day-to-day maintenance. The Prestige Pro VX is designed to offer a more thoughtful user experience, with features that make it easier to monitor cooking, improve the perception of control and promote a more satisfying overall interaction with the equipment.

More convenient to clean and a well-thought-out product feel

The overall logic of the appliance, the access to key areas and the overall approach reinforce the idea of a well thought-out premium product. On the 665 Elite, moreover, the better organisation of the set-up makes both preparation and subsequent collection feel like part of a more refined and professional experience. On the 500, that practical value is concentrated on offering a very advanced and more balanced solution in size for those who are looking for the highest level without going to the top format.

  3. Before each use, check the condition of the hose, regulator, electrical cable and connections.
  4. Carry out a leak test before first use, before each use, at least once a year and whenever any component of the gas system is replaced.
  5. Check that the grease tray, drip tray and interior plates do not have an excessive build-up of residue.
  6. Always open the lid before ignition.
  7. In automatic mode, ignition and mode activation must be performed physically on the grill; you can then rely on the display, sensors and app for monitoring.

  9. When finished, turn off the controls, turn off the gas and unplug the unit before cleaning.

Cleaning after use

  1. Clean the grates by removing debris whilst the grill is hot using a suitable brush.

  4. Replace the disposable grease tray every 2 to 4 weeks, depending on actual use.
  5. On the control panel, use only warm soapy water.

  3. Do not put the probes in the dishwasher.
  4. Do not expose the display unit, connections or cables to persistent rain or immersion.

Maintenance of burners and special zones

Grilled pineapple with rum, cinnamon and brown sugar

Summary A sophisticated grilled dessert, perfect for demonstrating that the Prestige Pro 500 VX can also round off a meal with an elegant and aromatic dish. The aim here is to use the direct automatic mode at a moderate temperature to caramelise the sugar without burning it, keeping the inside juicy and the outside glossy. Ingredients
  • 1 ripe fresh pineapple
  • 40 g butter
  • 40 g brown sugar
  • 30 mL rum
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • Zest of 1 lime
  • Mint leaves, optional
  • Vanilla ice cream or creamy yoghurt, optional
Preparing the grill · automatic mode
  1. Switch on the grill and go to the main screen.
  2. Select DIRECT mode.
  3. Set the target temperature to 195 °C, which is sufficient to caramelise precisely without burning the brown sugar.
  4. Wait until the display indicates that the burners must be lit manually.
  5. Light the main burners indicated by the system and set them to their highest position to maintain automatic control.
  6. Place the pineapple on the main grill over moderate direct heat.
  7. Do not use the SIZZLE ZONE for this recipe: the infrared intensity is too high for a dish containing sugar and rum.
Temperatures and control
  • Grill temperature: 195 °C in direct automatic mode.
  • Position: direct heat, on the main grill.
  • Internal temperature: not applicable as a mandatory safety temperature.
  • Final result: pineapple hot on the inside, seared and lightly caramelised.
Alarms and monitoring · control panel and app
  1. On the control panel: monitor the target grill temperature and check the colour of the caramelisation at each turn.
  2. In the Napoleon Home app: set a rough timer for 8 to 12 minutes, checking halfway through cooking.
  3. Enable notifications so the app alerts you when the set time is up.
Recipe steps
  1. Peel the pineapple, remove the hard core and cut it into thick slices or long quarters.
  2. Mix the melted butter with the brown sugar, rum, cinnamon, salt and lime zest.
  3. Brush the pineapple all over with the mixture.
  4. Place it on the grill over a moderate direct heat.
  5. Keep turning it and brushing on more mixture whilst cooking to enhance the shine and caramelisation.
  6. Remove it when it is nicely charred, very fragrant and hot through.
  7. Serve with fresh mint and, if you like, with vanilla ice cream or creamy yoghurt for a sweeter finish.

📲 Note on the control panel and app

On these barbecues, starting the cooking mode and lighting the burners must always be done in person. The smart part of the system comes into play afterwards: touchscreen, target temperature control, probe readings, monitoring via Napoleon Home and device notifications when a set temperature is reached or a system event occurs.

Whole roasted cauliflower with spiced butter

Summary A large-scale vegetarian recipe designed to demonstrate that the Prestige Pro 500 VX is not only a master of meat and high-heat searing, but also of refined outdoor cooking. The key lies in cooking the cauliflower in indirect automatic mode, with a slow, even heat that softens the core without overcooking the surface, and a more intense finish to enhance the browning and aromatic depth. Ingredients
  • 1 large whole cauliflower
  • 80 g butter
  • 1 tbsp sweet paprika
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp granulated garlic
  • 1 tsp mild curry powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/ 2 teaspoons black pepper
  • 15 mL extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 lemon
  • Chopped fresh parsley
  • Plain Greek yoghurt, optional for serving
Preparing the grill · automatic mode
  1. Plug the grill in, switch on the control panel and wait for the display to complete the start-up sequence.
  2. Select INDIRECT mode on the display.
  3. Set the target grill temperature to 190 °C and confirm the setting.
  4. Wait for the display and knobs to indicate which main burners need to be lit manually.
  5. Light only the indicated burners and turn them up to their highest setting so that the system maintains automatic control.
  6. Place the cauliflower in the indirect zone, i.e. on the part of the grill where there is no burner lit underneath.
  7. Close the lid and allow the grill to stabilise the cooking temperature.
Temperatures and control
  • Grill temperature: 190 °C in indirect automatic mode.
  • Position: indirect heat, over an area with no active burner underneath.
  • Internal temperature: not applicable as a mandatory safety temperature; the correct point is determined by texture.
  • Final stage: the cauliflower should be tender in the centre and nicely browned on the outside.
Alarms and monitoring · control panel and app
  1. On the control panel: keep the target grill temperature visible and check that the system is still in indirect automatic mode.
  2. In the Napoleon Home app: set a rough timer for 45 to 60 minutes and keep device notifications enabled.
  3. When the cauliflower is almost ready, you can set a final 5-minute reminder to check the browning.
Recipe steps
  1. Remove the outer leaves from the cauliflower and trim the stalk slightly so that it stands upright, without separating the florets.
  2. Melt the butter and mix it with the paprika, cumin, granulated garlic, curry powder, salt, pepper and olive oil.
  3. Brush the whole cauliflower with this spiced butter, making sure it gets between the florets.
  4. Place the cauliflower on the grill in the indirect heat zone and cook with the lid closed.
  5. Halfway through cooking, brush again with a little more spiced butter.
  6. When the centre is tender, finish with a few drops of lemon juice and fresh parsley.
  7. If you want a more intense finish, move the cauliflower to a hotter area for a few minutes to enhance the browning, keeping a close eye on it at all times.
  8. Serve on its own or with a base of Greek yoghurt to add contrast and freshness.

📲 Note on control panel and app

On these barbecues, starting the cooking mode and igniting the burners must always be done in person. The smart part of the system comes into play afterwards: touchscreen, target temperature control, probe readings, monitoring via Napoleon Home and device notifications when a set temperature is reached or a system event occurs.
