The rectangular Cocoon LOUNGE & DINING outdoor table by Happy Cocooning combines a decorative gas fire with a useful surface to hold glasses, lids and light tableware. Made of high-performance composite and available in anthracite and black, it creates a realistic flame thanks to the included ceramic logs and lava stones, without smoke or sparks, with push-button ignition and flame regulation via rotary knob.

🔧 Materials and construction

The body is made of composite, a technical material that is very stable against extreme temperatures and climate changes and can remain outdoors all year round without degrading. The burner tank is hidden under a bed of logs and lava stones that also protect the flame and improve the visual appearance, while the rectangular structure provides robustness and stability for continuous use on terraces and in gardens.

⚙️ Outstanding features

The unit integrates push-button ignition for immediate fire starting and a rotary knob that allows the height and liveliness of the flame to be precisely adjusted. Optional glazing wraps around the fire to reduce the influence of wind and provide an additional physical barrier around the flame, keeping the aesthetics clean and access controlled.

🔥 Performance and visual efficiency

With a maximum output of 19.5 kW, the table generates a wide, enveloping flame for visual warmth and ambient comfort. The design of the burner and the ceramic material of the logs optimise the diffusion of heat to the immediate surroundings, providing the effect of a fireplace without smoke or sparks, ideal for living with outdoor textiles and cushions.

🧩 Design and aesthetics

Its rectangular shape leaves useful space on the sides, so that, in addition to the fire place, it functions as a side table for drinks and small dishes. The slightly higher height than other models makes it possible to accommodate larger canisters inside, keeping the lines clean and all the equipment discreetly integrated for an elegant set in lounge and outdoor dining environments.

Compatibilities and accessories

The set includes logs and lava stones, elements that make up the authentic flame look. As an option, a perimeter glass fence can be added to help against gusts of wind and act as additional protection. The configuration is compatible with use as a coffee table; the free edges around the firebox allow it to be combined with modular sofas, armchairs or terrace corner pieces.

🍽️ Benefits in kitchens and outdoor spaces

In outdoor kitchen contexts, the table integrates as a meeting and support point around grills and outdoor kitchens, providing warm light and ambience during service. It does not replace a barbecue and is not intended for cooking, but it does enhance the dining experience by creating a comfortable lounge area for an aperitif, dessert or prolonged after-dinner meals in the warmth of the flame.

🛡️ Safety and ease of use

The push-button ignition makes start-up quick and easy and the rotary control makes it easy to adjust the flame without interruption. With the optional glass kit, the risk of direct contact is reduced, especially useful in spaces with children or pets. By not generating smoke or sparks, it reduces soiling of textiles and minimises odour nuisance, promoting a cleaner and safer environment.

🏨 Further applications

In addition to residential use, its scenic presence makes it ideal for hotels, boutique hotels and outdoor events as an atmospheric piece and a focal point for gatherings. In patios, porches or attics, it works as a decorative element throughout the year thanks to the resistance of the composite, maintaining the aesthetics without the need to remove it in the rainy or cold season.

Use and Maintenance

To ensure that your Cocoon LOUNGE & DINING performs at its best and retains its appearance for years to come, I suggest following this practical guide: first, install it safely; then, learn how to light it and regulate the flame; next, follow the guidelines for responsible use and cleaning of the composite and decorative elements; and finally, finish with tips on seasonal protection and a brief troubleshooting guide. You do not need any special tools: all you need is attention to detail, level surfaces and to follow the steps in order.

Initial installation

  1. Place the table on a firm, level surface, leaving a perimeter free of combustible materials around it.
  2. Place the gas cylinder inside in the space provided and check that the connections are straight and secure.
  3. Arrange the lava rocks evenly and distribute the logs according to the manufacturer's instructions, without obstructing the burner holes.

Ignition and flame adjustment

  1. Open the gas supply following the recommended order.
  2. Press the ignition button to start the flame.
  3. Use the rotary knob to adjust the height until the desired atmosphere is achieved.

Safe use and best practices

  1. Do not cover the burner with objects or use the table for cooking or heating containers.
  2. Consider the optional glass fence in windy areas or where there are children/pets.
  3. Do not leave the equipment running unattended.

Cleaning

  1. With the equipment turned off and cool, remove dust or debris with a soft cloth.
  2. Gently vacuum the lava rocks to remove accumulated ash or dust.
  3. Clean the composite with water and mild soap; avoid abrasives.

Protection and seasonality

  1. It can remain outdoors all year round; for better aesthetic preservation, use a cover when not in use for long periods.
  2. After episodes of rain or dust, perform a light cleaning before the next ignition.

Basic troubleshooting

  1. Weak flame: check the control setting and distribution of lava stones.
  2. Irregular ignition: check the ignition and that there are no obstructions on the burner.
  3. Excessive wind influence: install the optional perimeter glass.
