The Gozney Dome Gen 2 front tray extends the available space directly in front of the oven mouth and creates an integrated work area so that everything is closer during each preparation. It is available in two sizes specifically designed for the Dome Gen 2 and Dome XL Gen 2.

It is designed for those who want to work closer to the oven, have a place to rest their hands whilst cooking, and keep utensils, containers or food preparations to hand without constantly having to rely on another work surface.

Choose the version that matches your oven: Dome Gen 2 for the Dome Gen 2 and Dome XL Gen 2 for the Dome XL Gen 2. Both share the benefits described below.

More work surface

The tray extends the front of the Dome Gen 2, providing you with a work surface right in front of the oven opening. Thanks to its position, you can use this space as a transition area between preparation, cooking and serving.

As it is integrated into the oven itself, you have a handy support surface for handling food and containers without any need to constantly move them to another work surface.

Rotate, finish and monitor

Its position right next to the oven entrance makes everything much more convenient during cooking. You can turn pizzas, finish off a dish, add a garnish, baste a piece of meat or simply check how it’s getting on before carrying on.

The front surface allows you to work with the food very close to the oven’s heat and pop it back in as soon as you need to, making the whole process quicker and seamless.

It’s also very handy for keeping an eye on your dishes at just the right moment, without having to step away from the oven – something that’s particularly useful when you’re juggling several things at once.

A handy work surface

As well as making it easier to work with pizzas, the tray can be used as a support for containers and dishes that need to remain next to the oven door whilst cooking.

This is particularly useful when working with frying pans, side dishes or dishes that require frequent checking, as it allows you to keep them immediately to hand whilst organising the rest of the cooking.

Gozney also recommends using it to keep side dishes close to the heat source whilst they rest, expanding your organisational options when preparing several elements of the same menu.

304 stainless steel

The tray’s surface is made from 304-grade stainless steel, a material chosen by Gozney to provide a durable work surface next to the oven.

Its finish makes it easy to clean after use as a work surface during preparation or cooking – a practical advantage for a surface intended for frequent use with containers and utensils.

The same material is used in both the Dome Gen 2 version and the version designed for the Dome XL Gen 2, so the difference between the two lies mainly in their dimensions and compatibility with each oven.

Quick assembly

The tray uses a push-fit and click-in coupling system designed to be fitted directly onto the corresponding oven. Gozney states that it can be attached to the oven without the need for tools.

The unit incorporates a high-pressure die-cast aluminium support arm, which provides support to the front surface once installed.

This support has a powder-coated finish to increase its resistance to heat and scratches, making the unit suitable for regular use near the hob.
