The Gozney Dome Gen 2 oven and its higher-capacity version, the Dome XL Gen 2, take thermal control and the versatility of open-fire cooking to a complete new level. This oven is designed for those who want to work with a real fire in a controlled manner without compromising on high-quality materials and a build designed for heavy-duty use.
Its multi-fuel system allows you to adapt each recipe to the moment, achieving the desired result, whilst the digital control panel, cordierite hearth and enveloping side flame help you to cook pizzas, meat, fish, vegetables and dishes prepared in a pan or on a tray.
Choosing between the Dome Gen 2 and Dome XL Gen 2 depends mainly on the capacity required and the space available, whilst the Off Black and Bone finishes only affect the external appearance.
Dome or Dome XL: Same technology, different capacity

The Dome Gen 2 and Dome XL Gen 2 share the same features: a multi-fuel system, digital control panel, dual food probes, a removable 30 mm cordierite base, triple-layer insulation and a wraparound side flame.
The Dome Gen 2 offers a more compact design for everyday use, whilst the Dome XL Gen 2 provides a larger cooking surface for preparing up to three pizzas or working with several trays, containers and toppings at the same time.
The choice is yours. What recipes do you want to make, how many pizzas do you want to bake, or how do you want your oven to perform? The Off Black and Bone finishes offer the same functionality and allow you to adapt the oven to the style of any outdoor kitchen.
Three fuel options to cook your way

The range allows you to choose between firewood, charcoal or LPG to adapt the oven to your cooking style. Firewood lets you enjoy the character of an open fire, charcoal offers a slower burn, and gas enables quick ignition with gradual flame adjustment.
According to the specifications confirmed for Spain, the system operates on butane or propane at a pressure of 29–30 mbar. Each fuel must be used in accordance with its specific instructions, and the gas burner must never be used simultaneously with firewood or charcoal.
This flexibility allows you to switch from high-temperature pizzas to meat, fish, vegetables or pan-fried dishes without limiting the oven to a single cooking technique.
Digital control of air, base temperature and dual sensors

The integrated digital console allows you to check the air temperature inside the chamber and the base temperature separately. It also features a timer that brings together all the essential information for controlling the preheating and each stage of cooking in one place.
The two probes included allow you to monitor the internal temperature of two items simultaneously. They are particularly useful for cooking cuts of meat, fish or dishes that require the internal temperature to reach a precise point.
All the information you need is displayed directly on the oven, making it easy to check the condition of the baking tray, the chamber environment, and the progress of the food without relying solely on estimates.
Enveloping side flame for better heat distribution

The lateral path of the flame is designed to travel along the top of the chamber and extend the thermal coverage over the cooking zone. The heat is not concentrated solely near the burner, but circulates around the oven, enveloping the food more evenly.
This pattern promotes a more uniform distribution of heat and helps to cook the crust and surface of pizzas, caramelise vegetables or brown meat, fish and pan-fried dishes.
The intensity of the gas burner can be adjusted gradually to switch from moderate heat output to a more intense, enveloping flame, depending on the recipe.
30 mm removable cordierite plate

At the heart of the cooking surface is a 30 mm- thick cordierite base. Thanks to its high thermal mass, it retains heat optimally and speeds up temperature recovery between batches, ensuring perfect baking even with several consecutive pizzas.
The plate can be easily removed and replaced. This solution simplifies maintenance tasks and allows the area subject to the most wear to be replaced independently, without affecting the rest of the oven’s structure.
The system includes a digital display showing the temperature of the baking stone. This allows the user to check with pinpoint accuracy when the cordierite has reached the ideal temperature before placing the food inside.
Three-layer insulation to maintain temperature
The body and baking base are surrounded by triple-layer insulation designed to reduce heat loss, making the Gozney Dome Gen 2 oven highly efficient. This construction helps to stabilise the chamber once the optimum temperature has been reached and allows for better utilisation of the energy generated by any of the three fuels.
Thermal stability is particularly useful during long service periods, multiple pizza batches or recipes that require a constant cooking environment to be maintained for longer periods.
Capacity for pizzas, trays and full menus

The Dome Gen 2 has space for one pizza measuring approximately 40.6 cm or two pizzas measuring 25.4 cm. It also allows you to combine one rectangular tray measuring approximately 25.4 × 35.6 cm with two containers measuring around 20.3 cm.
Dome XL Gen 2 expands the capacity to accommodate one pizza measuring approximately 45.7 cm, two pizzas measuring 30.5 cm or three measuring 25.4 cm. Its surface can also accommodate two trays measuring approximately 25.4 × 35.6 cm and two containers of around 15.2 cm.
This flexibility allows you to choose between a standard oven offering great versatility, or a larger chamber for cooking multiple dishes and side dishes at the same time, or larger items.
Premium construction designed to last and evolve

The exterior combines a durable ceramic coating over aluminised steel, whilst the burners and various internal components are made from 304 stainless steel. The choice of materials is suited to repeated use at high temperatures and the conditions typical of an outdoor kitchen.
The internal architecture is designed to facilitate access to its systems, repairs and potential upgrades. This feature is part of a design aimed at extending the oven’s service life, without making repairability the primary focus of its use.
The Off Black and Bone finishes offer the same technical specifications, so the choice of colour can be based solely on the style of the outdoor space.
Comparison of variants
Choosing between the Dome Gen 2 and the Dome XL Gen 2 depends mainly on the cooking space you need, the size of the pizzas and the number of trays you wish to use simultaneously.
