Original recipe for ‘Citrus and Rosemary Hot Punch’ (hot or warm)

Objective: an aromatic and comforting drink to enjoy on the terrace while the MAVROS keeps the atmosphere cosy.
Ingredients (4 glasses): 600 ml fresh orange juice, 200 ml apple juice, 1 lemon, thinly sliced, 2 sprigs of fresh rosemary, 1 piece of ginger, 3 cm, sliced, 1 cinnamon stick, 2 tablespoons honey, zest of half an orange. Optional for adults: 120 ml spiced rum or brandy.
Step by step:
1. Place the juices, lemon, rosemary, ginger, cinnamon, orange peel and honey in a saucepan.
2. Heat over a very low heat for 10-12 minutes without boiling to infuse the aromas.
3. Remove the rosemary, cinnamon and peel; adjust the sweetness with honey.
4. Adult version: add the rum or brandy off the heat and stir.
5. Serve in heat-resistant cups and garnish with a sprig of rosemary, rubbing it between your hands to release the oils.
Tip: place it in a thermal jug for continuous service; MAVROS will take care of the rest: a warm atmosphere, conversation and good company.
