The Kamado Urban XL Complete 59 cm is an impressive large kamado designed for outdoor cooking enthusiasts looking for a superior cooking experience. Its robust construction and innovative design allow for versatile and precise cooking, combining tradition and modernity to create a cooking equipment capable of satisfying even the most demanding chefs. This high-end Dutch kamado, with its imposing size and quality materials, offers a unique capacity for perfect cooking, from smoked meats to authentic pizzas.

Precise Temperature Control

One of the most outstanding features of the Kamado Urban XL is its cast iron top valve, designed to offer precise airflow control. This element allows the temperature to be precisely regulated, adapting to different cooking techniques, from fast searing to slow cooking. The ability to adjust the heat with such precision allows professional results to be achieved in every preparation, whether it is meat, vegetables or fish.

Convenient and Safe Access

The hinge system of the Kamado Urban XL is designed to make it easy to open and close the lid comfortably and safely. Thanks to its double or triple spring design, the heavy lid can be lifted effortlessly, providing quick and uncomplicated access to the cooking area. This not only enhances the user experience, but also allows you to work more efficiently and safely during long cooking sessions.

Resistance and Optimal Heat Distribution

The Kamado Urban XL grill is made of high quality stainless steel, with a thickness of 7 mm, which ensures exceptional strength and even heat distribution. This extra thickness is ideal for withstanding high temperatures and constant use, ensuring that the grill maintains its shape and performance over time. In addition, its robust construction allows for even cooking across the entire surface, achieving perfect browning and retaining the juices in every dish.

Heat Retention Efficiency

The Kamado Urban XL incorporates a fibreglass damping gasket, which ensures an airtight seal between the lid and the body. This efficient seal allows heat and smoke to be retained inside the kamado, maximising temperature retention and preserving food moisture. The result is more efficient cooking and more tender, juicy dishes with that unmistakable smoky flavour that characterises kamado cooking.

Maximum flexibility in the kitchen

The Kamado Urban XL ‘s innovative two-tier cooking system allows you to create direct and indirect heat zones within the same cooking chamber. This versatility allows you to cook different foods at the same time, making maximum use of the grill surface. Whether you need to sear a steak at high temperature on one side or slow cook a large piece of meat on the other, this modular system adapts to your needs, giving you total control over the cooking process.

Dutch Design with Cordierite Ceramic

The Kamado Urban XL combines modern design with traditional cordierite ceramic construction, providing exceptional thermal performance. This material is known for its ability to retain and distribute heat evenly, ideal for long and precise cooking. Its matt black finish gives it a robust and elegant appearance, while ensuring superior resistance to weathering and heavy use. This kamado is not only a functional kitchen tool, but also a piece that stands out in any outdoor space.

Total Versatility

The Kamado Urban XL is much more than just a barbecue. Thanks to its multifunctional design, this kamado allows for a wide variety of cooking methods, from grilling and smoking to preparing crispy wood-fired pizzas. It is also ideal for slow cooking, making it a perfect tool for preparing stews, casseroles or even homemade bread. The ability to adapt to different techniques makes it perfect for cooks looking to take their creativity to new levels, regardless of the season or the type of food they wish to prepare.

Mobility and Extra Space

The Kamado Urban XL comes equipped with a base with wheels and brakes, making it easy to move and position in any outdoor space. This design allows it to be moved easily, either to fit the available space or to change location according to the needs of the event. In addition, the bamboo side tables offer an additional work surface, ideal for placing utensils, ingredients or dishes while cooking, improving the comfort and efficiency of the whole process.

Extreme Resistance and Lifetime Warranty on Ceramics

The Kamado Urban XL is manufactured with the highest quality materials, and its durability is guaranteed with a lifetime warranty on the ceramic parts. The cordierite ceramic is able to withstand extremely high temperatures without cracking, ensuring long-lasting and reliable performance. In addition, the metal parts come with a 5-year warranty, and the other components are covered for 2 years, providing additional peace of mind for users looking to invest in a piece of kitchen equipment that will last for many years to come.

The Kamado Urban XL Complete 59 cm is not only a powerful cooking appliance, but it also requires proper care to ensure that each of its parts functions perfectly for many years. Maintaining and using this kamado correctly not only guarantees its durability, but also optimises the performance of each cooking session, ensuring that you always achieve spectacular results. Below, we explain the essential steps for lighting, using, and maintaining its key components.

Lighting and Correct Use of the Kamado

1. Preparing the Kamado Before each use, ensure that the kamado is clean and ready for cooking. Check that the main parts, such as the grill and fire nest, are free of residue from previous cooks. This will ensure proper airflow and prevent old flavours from affecting your new dishes.2. Placing the Charcoal Use high-quality natural hardwood charcoal to ensure clean and efficient combustion. Fill the charcoal basket halfway or three-quarters full, depending on the amount of food and the estimated cooking time. The fire pit, designed for optimal air circulation, helps maximise heat efficiency and maintain even combustion.3. Lighting the Charcoal To light the kamado, use natural lighters (never flammable liquid) placed in several areas of the charcoal. Leave the lid open and the top precision vent fully open to maximise airflow. Once the charcoal begins to burn, close the lid and adjust the vents to control the internal temperature.4. Adjusting the Temperature The cast iron top precision valve and bottom valve control the amount of air entering and exiting the kamado. For slow cooking and smoking, keep the valves slightly open. For quick, high-temperature cooking, open the valves wider to allow for greater airflow.5. Cleaning After Use After each cooking session, allow the kamado to cool completely before cleaning. Remove accumulated ash with the ash collector and clean the stainless steel grill with a wire brush. It is recommended to leave a light layer of grease on the grill to protect it from rust.

Maintenance and Care of Parts

Ceramic Dome and Fire Nest The ceramic dome and fire nest are made of cordierite, a highly heat-resistant material. Although it can withstand extreme temperatures, avoid sudden temperature changes that could cause cracking. Clean the dome occasionally with a damp cloth, avoiding harsh chemical cleaners that could damage the surface.Stainless Steel Grill The stainless steel grill is extremely durable, but to prolong its life, it is important to clean it after each use. Use a steel bristle brush to remove food debris, and if necessary, soak it in hot soapy water to remove stubborn grease.Fiberglass Infinite Gasket The infinite gasket is essential for maintaining the airtight seal and is resistant to high temperatures. Check it periodically to make sure it is not worn. If you notice that it is losing its elasticity or beginning to crack, consider replacing it to maintain sealing efficiency.Bamboo Side Tables Folding bamboo tables require little maintenance, but it is advisable to clean them with a damp cloth after each use. Avoid leaving them exposed to the elements when you are not using the kamado, as bamboo, although resistant, can be damaged by prolonged exposure to moisture.Wheels and Chassis The powder-coated chassis and wheels are extremely sturdy and durable. However, ensure that the wheels are always clean and free of debris that could interfere with their movement. If you notice that the wheels are starting to jam or squeak, apply lubricant to ensure that they are always in optimal condition.
