Which type of barbecue is right for you?
Start with how you like to cook. Our gas barbecues offer adjustable heat without the need to light charcoal, making them worth considering for regular outdoor meals. Prefer tending the fire yourself? Charcoal barbecues put fuel arrangement and airflow at the centre of the cooking experience.
For charcoal cooking in a heat-retaining ceramic body, explore our kamado grills. They offer different cooking possibilities depending on the model and accessories. Alternatively, pellet grills combine wood fuel with electronic temperature control.
An electric barbecue is another option when you would rather avoid storing charcoal or gas bottles. Check the power requirements and the manufacturer’s guidance on where the appliance can be used.
What size barbecue do you need?
Look at the main cooking area, not just the barbecue’s overall dimensions. A warming rack can be useful, but it does not replace the space needed to grill your main meal.
Think about what will be cooking at the same time. A few steaks need a different layout from a meal involving vegetables, side dishes and a roasting joint. Room to move food away from direct heat can be just as useful as extra space for another burger.
Measure the intended position with the lid open and side shelves extended, allowing the clearances specified by the manufacturer.
Should you choose a portable or built-in barbecue?
A freestanding model gives you flexibility when arranging your outdoor space. For something easier to move or store, compare our portable barbecues, paying attention to weight, handles and the support required during use.
Planning a permanent cooking area? Our built-in barbecues are the place to start. Choose an appliance designed for installation rather than enclosing a freestanding model, and check its ventilation and installation requirements before designing the surrounding units.
Which features are worth comparing?
Focus on features you will actually use: the layout of the cooking grates, access for cleaning, storage space and the equipment included with the barbecue.
For gas models, compare burner arrangements and any additional cooking zones. With charcoal, look at airflow controls and ash removal. For kamado and pellet models, consider the cooking setups and temperature controls available on the particular grill.
Accessories also deserve a place in your budget. Browse barbecue thermometers and probes for checking food temperatures, and choose a compatible cover for storage.
Where can you buy a barbecue in Spain?
Explore the range online or visit Barbecue World in Estepona, Málaga. Start with your preferred fuel, available space and the meals you enjoy cooking, then compare the models that meet those needs. The largest barbecue is not automatically the best choice; the right one should fit both your outdoor space and your cooking routine.
