Premium G4 Built-in Cover – Grandpro

Before first use

1. Check that the cover has no cuts, open seams, damaged fastenings or transport-related damage.
2. Confirm that your barbecue is one of the compatible GrandPro or Grandhall Premium G3 or G4 Built-In models.
3. Unfold the cover and identify its correct orientation before fitting it, to avoid forcing the corners or fastening system.
4. Check that the Velcro strap opens and closes correctly.

Fitting the cover

1. Switch off the barbecue completely and wait until all surfaces are cool.
2. Remove utensils, containers and any other items that protrude and could distort or puncture the cover.
3. Check that the exterior surface of the barbecue is dry before covering it.
4. Fit the cover from the top and lower it gradually, without pulling hard on the corners.
5. Adjust the Velcro strap for a secure fit, without over-tightening the material.

During periods of non-use

• Periodically check that the cover remains correctly fitted and that the Velcro fastening is still closed.
• After periods of wind or rain, check that the cover has not shifted and that water has not collected on it.
• Do not place heavy objects on the cover, as they could distort it or transfer pressure to the barbecue.
• Avoid allowing the cover to come into contact with flames, embers, hot surfaces or sharp objects.

Removing the cover before cooking

1. Fully open the Velcro strap before lifting the cover.
2. Remove it gradually, without dragging it over the barbecue’s edges or protruding parts.
3. Check that there is no moisture or debris on the exterior surface of the barbecue.
4. Store the cover away from the cooking area to prevent it being exposed to heat, grease or sparks while the barbecue is lit.

Cleaning the cover

1. First remove dust and surface debris with a soft, dry cloth.
2. For stubborn dirt, use a soft, lightly dampened cloth, unless the product label states a different cleaning method.
3. Do not use abrasive scouring pads, rigid tools, solvents or harsh chemicals without the manufacturer’s express approval.
4. Do not place the cover in a washing machine or tumble dryer unless the label explicitly confirms that these methods are suitable.
5. Allow it to dry completely before fitting or folding it again.

Periodic maintenance

• Check the corners and contact areas, as these are most exposed to rubbing when fitting and removing the cover.
• Check the condition of the Velcro strap and remove any dirt that may prevent it from closing securely.
• Inspect the cover after prolonged periods of outdoor exposure.
• Stop using it if it has significant tears, no longer fastens securely or has damage that prevents it from covering the barbecue correctly.

Storage

1. Clean and dry the cover completely before storing it for an extended period.
2. Fold it without compressing it excessively or repeatedly creasing the same areas.
3. Store it in a dry, ventilated place away from heat sources.
4. Avoid placing heavy or sharp objects on the stored cover.
